Opened in 2019, Cafe La Trova is a collaboration between James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein and renowned bartender Julio Cabrera. This vibrant establishment pays homage to 1950s Cuba, combining exceptional Cuban cuisine with classic cocktails and live music. The restaurant features cantineros (Cuban bartenders) in traditional guayaberas mixing daiquiris and mojitos with theatrical flair. The retro-inspired space, complete with a vintage car facade and period decor, creates an immersive experience that celebrates Cuban culture and has quickly become a cornerstone of Miami's dining and nightlife scene.
