Murphy's Ice Cream

Murphy's Ice Cream

Dublin, Leinster, Ireland

Overview

Murphy's Ice Cream, founded by brothers Kieran and Sean Murphy in Dingle, County Kerry in 2000, opened its Dublin location in 2010. The company has become famous for its handmade ice cream using milk from Kerry cows, a rare indigenous Irish breed. All ingredients are natural, with many sourced locally in Ireland, including sea salt harvested from Dingle Peninsula waters. The Dublin shop often has lines stretching down Wicklow Street, especially during summer months. Murphy's is known for both traditional flavors and unique Irish-inspired creations that can't be found elsewhere.
