Located just outside Charlotte in Davidson, Kindred opened in 2015 and immediately received national attention, including being named one of Bon Appétit's Best New Restaurants. Chef Joe Kindred, a James Beard Award semifinalist, and his wife Katy transformed a historic 1914 building into a warm, family-run establishment serving seasonal, locally-sourced cuisine. The restaurant has become a destination dining experience worth the short drive from Charlotte.
