Tacos El Gordo brought authentic Tijuana-style tacos to Las Vegas in 2010, quickly becoming a cult favorite among locals and tourists alike. Founded in San Diego in 1998 by the Rojano family, who originated from Tijuana, Mexico, this no-frills taqueria specializes in authentic street tacos with house-made tortillas and traditional preparations. The Las Vegas Boulevard location regularly sees lines stretching around the block, particularly after midnight when the post-club crowd descends. Despite opening additional locations, the demand for their authentic tacos keeps the lines consistently long.
