Lotus of Siam
Overview
Lotus of Siam has been a Las Vegas institution since 1999, gaining national recognition when chef Saipin Chutima won a James Beard Award in 2011. This off-Strip gem is widely considered one of the best Thai restaurants in the United States, specializing in Northern Thai cuisine. The original location was damaged by a roof collapse in 2017, leading to a temporary closure, but the restaurant reopened in its original location in 2022 while maintaining a second location. The restaurant's popularity means that reservations are essential, often booked weeks in advance.
