Since opening in 2007, O Ya has set the standard for high-end Japanese cuisine in Boston. Founded by James Beard Award-winning chef Tim Cushman and his wife Nancy, this intimate restaurant located in a converted firehouse in the Leather District offers an elaborate omakase experience featuring innovative nigiri, sashimi, and small plates. O Ya has received national acclaim, including being named one of the top restaurants in America by several publications. With only 40 seats and a reputation for culinary excellence, reservations are extremely competitive and often need to be made months in advance.
