Established in 2002, Daikokuya is widely credited with igniting Los Angeles' ramen craze. The Little Tokyo original location still draws lines around the block, especially on weekends. Known for their Tonkotsu ramen with a rich, fatty pork broth that simmers for nearly 24 hours, Daikokuya has maintained its reputation as one of LA's premier ramen shops despite the influx of competitors over the years.
