Bunsen

Bunsen

Dublin, Leinster, Ireland

Overview

Bunsen opened its first location in Dublin in 2013 and quickly developed a cult following for its simple, no-frills approach to burgers. Founded by Tom Gleeson, who studied the art of burger-making in New York, Bunsen is famous for its minimalist menu that fits on a business card: just hamburger, cheeseburger, fries, and drinks. Despite its simplicity, or perhaps because of it, Bunsen regularly has lines out the door at its various Dublin locations. The restaurant uses Irish beef that's ground fresh daily and served on custom-made buns, creating what many consider to be the best burger in Ireland.
