Atlanta, GA, USA

Overview

Founded in 1945, Mary Mac's Tea Room is Atlanta's oldest continuously operating restaurant and an institution for authentic Southern cuisine. What began as a small tea room has evolved into a beloved establishment that has served celebrities, politicians, and locals alike. After the original owner Mary McKenzie, the restaurant passed through several female proprietors before being purchased by John Ferrell in 1994, who maintained its traditional recipes and warm hospitality.
