Overview
Established in 2005, Hen of the Wood has become a cornerstone of Vermont's farm-to-table movement. Chef-owner Eric Warnstedt, a multiple-time James Beard Award nominee, transformed this restaurant into a culinary destination known for its commitment to local ingredients and rustic elegance. The Burlington location opened in 2013 after the success of the original Waterbury restaurant, and continues to showcase the best of Vermont's seasonal bounty in a sophisticated yet unpretentious atmosphere.
