Raku
Overview
Since opening in 2008, Aburiya Raku (commonly known as Raku) has been the worst-kept secret among Las Vegas chefs and food enthusiasts. Located in Las Vegas's Chinatown district, this Japanese robata grill was founded by Chef Mitsuo Endo, who earned a James Beard Award nomination for his work. The restaurant specializes in charcoal-grilled skewers and authentic Japanese small plates. Despite its off-Strip location and unassuming exterior, Raku attracts crowds of in-the-know diners and visiting chefs, making late-night reservations essential.
