Overview
Founded in 2011 by chef Michael Solomonov (of Zahav fame) and business partner Steven Cook, Federal Donuts pioneered the now-popular combination of fried chicken and donuts. What began as a small shop in South Philadelphia has expanded to multiple locations throughout the city due to overwhelming demand. The concept is brilliantly simple: serving exceptional coffee, fresh donuts made twice daily, and crispy fried chicken with unique seasonings and glazes.
