Formerly known as Uchiko, Tai Modern is the sister restaurant to Uchi, opened in 2010 under the guidance of chef Tyson Cole and then-executive chef Paul Qui. The restaurant offers a contemporary take on Japanese cuisine with a distinct Texas influence.
